Senior Patrol Leader: 30-60 Day / Annual Program Plan
Brief 1.
Review of Past Month: Roses -Troop liked the requirements task they worked on in Troop meetings. Would like more of those activities, Also liked the Sliver Spoon and Golden Stake awards they are giving out at campouts now. Enjoyed the Corn Maze Activity. Would be interested in doing that again. Thorns - Need to go through Patrol Boxes - they all need to be re-organized

Upcoming Month:
Nov 13 Patrol Activities - should be contacted for next weeks activity by
patrol leader 3.
Following Month:
Dec 4th - PLC will go to Carbones for a Holiday Party Dec 11th - Troop Meeting - location TBD Dec 17th Powderridge Ski Day Dec
18th Court of Honor - Tentatively scheduled for KWMS 4.
Remaining Annual Plan: Jan North Wind Adventure // Wilderness Survival Feb
Blue and Gold Banquet 5. Needs/Approvals from the Committee: Possible

Leadership Needs: 1.
Camping
Coordinator: Responsible for
scheduling campouts and collecting fees 2.
Fund
Raising Chair: Responsible for
coordinating the fundraisers conducted during the year.
Finding a coordinator unless a permanent one can be found to host one of
the fund raisers annually. 3.
Fundraising
Coordinators: Work with the Fund
Raising Chair to coordinate and run your specific event. 4.
Activities Coordinator: Coordinate the additional activities that the PLC may plan
through out the year. Would be 4-6
one time events. 5.
Advancement Coordinator: Joy

Old Business / Review Past Events: Thorns & Roses
1.
Troop
Campout: Oct 7 – 9 PSR a.
Overall
good - thorn would be that if plans do change (like they did on this campout)
the boys need to be kept informed and understand why things are changing. 2.
Wreath
Sales: Money Due 12/11 3.
University
of Scouting: Oct 28 a.
Always
something to learn - even if it's not what you expected. 4.
Troop
Campout: Nov 4-6 Stearns a.
Good
food - Fun Campout - especially the structure that was built. Boys enjoyed
working together to build the 'tower'. Next year they
might like to use the camp sites that go with the cabin. E.

Butter
Braid Sales: We
are going to have the Butter Braids in the Spring 2.
OA
Fall Fellowship: Nov 10-11 a.
Promotion
needs to be conducted through the OA Rep and the PLC. 3.
Wreath

Scouts
must pick up their orders between 4:00 and 9:00. There is no room to store product. b. Assistance will be need to break down the boxes in the afternoon.

Campout: Kiwanis 2/9-11 a.
Conduct
a Merit Badge weekend that will allow Scouts to earn 2 merit badges.
Make a decision on what 4 merit badges will be offered but should be
along the lines of collections or finger printing. b.
This
will be a cabin camping weekend. Currently
we have cabin 4, 5 and the Bat Cave (adults) reserved for sleeping and Gordon
Hall. Mr. Denn will allow us to use
the Fox Den (addition) if it is not rented. 2.
March
Campout 16th,17th,18th 3.
Summer
Camp: 6/24-30 a.
Have
a discussion about summer camp to include expectations, program needs and
facilities. H.
Finances (Funding the Troop):
1.
Applebee’s
Fund Raiser: April 13 (John Bermel) a. This is a go - more to follow 2.
Twins
Concessions: a.
A
study needs to be conducted of the Twins baseball concessions and other
opportunities that would allow the boys or the troop to fund their camping
experiences. b.
Scouts
must be 16 years old so we need to poll the parents and see if they are willing
to work on their son’s behalf. I.
